- Content or Application Migrations: Do you have the need to move a strategic or departmental application from one repository to another, such as a shared services initiative? Buldoser can help you move the content and re-map it to a new enterprise object model and folder hierarchy. - Content Archiving: You have important content spread throughout your organization, including huge volumes of content you no longer use but must retain. Buldoser can migrate that content into your EMC Content Server (or EMC High-Volume Server) repository for long-term storage and retention.
- Content Server Upgrades: One effective approach to Content Server version upgrades is to build a new environment, migrate content into the new environment, move and test customizations, and then cut over. While this strategy minimizes downtime and reduces risk, it requires a content migration. Buldoser is just the tool for the job.
- Repository Configuration Changes: EMC Content Server offers many ways to configure the object, security, and folder models in a repository.
