To implement your Oracle Hyperion solution, you'll devote extensive resources and time in planning your implementation activities. But planning can come at a steep cost for companies implementing unfamilair solutions. Worse yet, they run the risk of not meeting implementation objectives if they don't thoroughly and effectively define and execute each of the planning phases.
You might consider getting help from the implementation planning experts at Crown. With Crown Project Implementation Services, Crown can assist you with all of your planning activities—defining and maintaining your project tasks, timelines, resources, and costs throughout the project.
Crown Service
Crown Partners uses a time-proven, disciplined project implementation methodology on all Oracle Hyperion engagements. It's also flexible enough to adapt to the diverse needs of our clients and their unique environmental factors. Crown understands that project planning is not a one-time event. Instead, it's an ongoing process that starts prior to the beginning of the project and ends with the final project wrap-up activities. The Crown Partners Project Implementation Service involves the following phases:
-
Pre-Engagement – Project Implementation begins as a support mechanism to the engagement proposal and contracting processes. Through meetings and documentation review, Crown Partners representatives develop an understanding of your requirements and objectives. From there, we'll develop and maintain estimated timelines, resources, costs, and other necessary components of the proposal and/or contract.
-
Project Initiation – During the initial weeks of an engagement, Crown Partners completes the analyze/design phase of the implementation methodology. We may identify necessary changes to the original scope that impact the estimates provided during the Pre-Engagement phase. Once the design is complete, Crown Partners adjusts the Project Plan to reflect any changes from the original scope, and all parties formally approve the plan. This Project Plan serves as a baseline for managing the project.
-
Project Execution – During the main phases of the project, changes may arise that require updates to the Project Plan. All material scope changes must follow a formal scope change control process that ends with either approval or rejection of the change. Upon approval of any change, the Project Plan is updated to reflect the revised scope.
-
Project Closure – In the Project Closure phase, we review project objectives to ensure that the project was completed as specified. This also helps to ensure that all outstanding issues have been resolved. Plans for future phases are formally documented to ensure a seamless hand-off from Crown Partners to your team.
